"Who's Showing Up At My Door"

I am a Nurse Practitioner with 19 years of clinical experience across diverse healthcare settings. My career includes 3 years in urgent care, 2 years serving rural communities through the National Health Service Corps, and 14 years in emergency department medicine, giving me a broad and adaptable clinical skill set honed under high-pressure, fast-paced conditions. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah before completing both my Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees at the University of Virginia. I am board certified as both an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), reflecting my commitment to providing comprehensive, high-quality care across the lifespan and in both acute and primary care settings. A Utah native, I currently reside in Cache Valley, where I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family — whether it's riding dirt bikes, hiking, snowboarding, or gathering together with family and friends for a good game night.

Founder’s Background
With 19 years of experience across high-acuity emergency and urgent care settings, Eric established Backroad Mobile Health to bring hospital-standard clinical expertise directly to your home or business. His vision focuses on eliminating the friction of traditional clinics by providing rapid, targeted medical interventions through a mobile, high-response model that eliminates hidden costs and fees.
"One of my life changing events was when I first served in a RAM (Remote Area Medicine) clinic in Southwest Virginia. I was able to take the medical care to patients in their own environment. For some patients this was the only medical care they received all year. This event created the desire in me to take my experience and help patients get the care they need — now, that means bringing it directly into their own home."
